We've recently detected that some people are pretending to be Mundigames moderators and they’re sending private messages offering gifts and promotions.
Then they ask you to enter your personal credentials on a webpage that is similar to ours, but it’s a FAKE page!
NEVER enter your credentials on these pages! We’ll never ask you to login with your nickname and password to get a promotion.
Below there’s an explanation on how you can detect them and avoid falling into these kinds of frauds.
- When our moderators send messages in a room, they always write in blue.
- When they send inbox messages, you will see a "moderator" label under their avatar, if you visit the website.
- Our promotional messages sent by email are always from an address ending in @tangelogames.com like news@mundimail.tangelogames.com.
- Fake accounts usually have a picture simulating our avatar, but if you visit their profile, you will see that their avatar does not have the official Mundigames cap. That's because they are FAKE MODERATORS.
- The accounts from which we usually send promotions are: https://www.mundigames.com/player/mundijuegos/ and https://www.mundigames.com/player/smartin/ . Pay attention to fake accounts with very similar nicknames. Our other moderators DO NOT send promotions.
